Community Outreach Ministries
Making a difference in the lives of others.

  

 VOLUNTEER FOR A MINISTRY 

St. Anne’s Parish Day School
The day school has served the Jacksonville community for over 30 years as an outreach ministry. It provides a nurturing environment where children can grow spiritually, emotionally and cognitively. Parishioners support the school through participation and by supporting different events.

Onslow Community Ministries ~ Soup Kitchen
Spend the morning with a team of servants who prepare sandwiches and serve meals. This vital ministry feeds hungry people here in Onslow County. St. Anne's helps serve prepare and serve meals three times a year.

Unseen Guest Ministry
Christ is the unseen guest at dinner tables. As meals are prepared, a portion is placed into individual serving trays, labeled and frozen. Meals are kept in the church freezer and distributed to those who come to St. Anne's seeking assistance with food. Trays and instructions are provided.

Cooking Camerata
Come one, come all to the Cooking Camerata! Enjoy great fellowship, music and cooking. Meals are prepared in the church kitchen  for the Unseen Guest freezer. For more information call the church office at 347-3774. 
 

Operation Christmas Child (Seasonal)
The love of Christ is spread by filling shoeboxes with gifts for impoverished children all over the world. A brochure with all the information is provided. This is the perfect opportunity to teach children about helping other children in need.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Do you like to knit, crochet or quilt or would you like to learn how? This team of crafters creates shawls to be given in a time of crisis or celebration in someone's life. Yarn is provided to the participants. There is no cost for the shawls. The shawls are available in the church office.
