WORSHIP ASSISTANT SCHEDULE
Acolytes Children from age five through twelfth grade are encouraged to be part of the worship services. With minimal training, Acolytes serve as Torch Bearers, Gospel Bearers, Crucifers or Eucharistic Angels.
Ushers These helpful individuals offer bulletins with a smile, assist worshipers if needed, as well as present the offering. They also serve for occasional services such as funerals.
Lectors The reading of pre-selected scriptures during worship is one way that the word of God is shared. With minimal training, Lectors provide an important part of a meaningful worship experience.
Chalice Bearers Trained individuals assist the clergy by reading the prayers and administering the chalice during communion.
Altar Guild This team of individuals lovingly cares for the linens and the maintenance free vessels used during worship services. They also prepare the altar table for Sunday worship and occasions as needed. With minimal training, this is a quiet servant ministry that is extremely important.
